Stella Tembisa Ndabeni-Abrahams was born in Mthatha, in the Eastern Cape. She is the eldest of five siblings of Mr and Mrs Ndabeni and married with two children.

·        Deputy Minister of Communications of the Republic of South Africa since 2011

·        Full -time Member of Parliament from 2009 to date

·        Committee Whip of Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Communications

·        Committee Whip of Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Defence

·        Member of Joint Standing Committee on Intelligence.

·        Member of ANC Parliamentary Caucus – Subcommittee on Political Education

·        Worked as the Project Manager (Eastern Cape Socio Economic Consultative
         Council (ECSECC)


 

Education Background

 
·        Completed her Matric at Holy Cross Secondary School in Mthatha

·        Studied Advanced certificate in Project Management at Rhodes University

·        Completed Project Management Diploma with Cranefields College

·        Completed Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation Diploma in
         Telecommunications and Management Systems

·        Currently doing Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with Regent Business
         School

·        Studying towards Post Graduate Certificate in Telecommunication, Policy and
         Regulation Management with Wits University
