Deputy Minister Pinky Kekana host dialogue on gender-based violence in Parys, 10 Dec

The Deputy Minister of Communications, Pinky Kekana, will host a dialogue on gender- based violence on Monday the 10th of December 2018 in Parys, Free State. The dialogue is a partnership with the Ngwathe Local Municipality.

Minister Kekana says gender-based violence is a societal challenge that destroys women across race and class. It is a challenge that requires societal intervention, she adds.

The Minister of Communications, Ms Nomvula Mokonyane will in the upcoming week, 22nd and 23rd October 2018, visit MaSisulu’s family home and Cofimvaba Hospital in Eastern Cape to celebrate the centenary of  Albertina Nontsikelelo Sisulu.

The hospital visit will focus on some of the roles MaSisulu played in society - as a nurse, midwife and a care giver to women and children in the community; and her leadership role in the struggle for liberation.
